2018 In Review: What Did I Accomplish This Year? // Resolutions for 2019

Hello friends, and happy Sunday! I hope that you’re all doing well 🙂 As you can probably tell, we are reaching the end of my mini-series “2018 in Review”. In case you’re not aware, basically what “2018 in Review” is looking back this past year and, like the name, reviewing it. If you haven’t read the past 2 posts in this mini-series and are interested, you can find it here, and here.

Anyways, for today, I’ll be reviewing the goals I made in December 2017 for this year, as well as making resolutions for the upcoming 2019. I mean, I think it’s quite obvious now that one of my favourite things to do is making goals and, yes, planning 😂

Let’s dive right in, shall we? *hup*

2018 In Review: Most Memorable + Least Memorable Moments of 2018 ft. lots of screaming, revelations + sentiments

Y’all, it’s December. Aka last month of the year.

I’m still (extremely) confused as to how time works, because it seems like it was just yesterday that I screamed about how 2017 was going to end*? Is it just me when I say that sometimes 1 hour feels like forever yet looking back at a month seems like 5 minutes? Oh, I don’t know what time is anymore.

Anyways, since it’s the last month of the year do we need to be reminded again lol, instead of doing a Farewell November and December post (month wrap-up), I’ll be splitting it all AND including notable moments of 2018 into several posts as a mini-series called 2018 In Review!

Now, may I invite all to witness Kimberly screaming (yet again) as she struggles to remember what happened over the last 365 days. It’s fun to watch, really.

Let’s dive right in, shall we? *hup*

*oh how ironic

Farewell August // new school year + reading slump + lots of stress // course planning galore + a new child (??)

I still cannot fathom, or even wrap my potato shaped head around the fact that IT’S SEPTEMBER.

I mean seriously – it is actually September, kids, like how did this even happen. Summer is from the days of the past okay I just made this really sad and now I have to face the stressing reality of being a student.

But!! Enough of that talk – there were still some pretty nice anecdotes of my summer break, and I can’t wait to share them with you! So much happened last month – I still have not clue as to how I’m going to put this all into one post without making this more than 5K words long 😂

Anyways, let’s dive right in, shall we? *hup*

Kaleidoscope // Spring 2018 Photography Collection

Hello friends!

Last long weekend I went up the mountains, and I saw something that I’ve never seen before in my 1000 short years of life: my city. I’ve lived there for so long that I didn’t really have time to stop and appreciate the thing we’re best known for – a city beside the ocean and mountains. Despite all the negativity we sadly have in our world today, there’s still some beauty that persists for us to see.

Today, I’m sharing some of the photos I took on the short little visit up the mountains! I know there’s some snow, but that’s spring for us 40 minutes away from where we live 😉 It really gave me wider perspective on the beauty of nature, and I hope that it’ll do the same for you 🙂

Let’s dive right in, shall we? *hup*

side note: I made an error about my new blogging schedule on my last post; it’s actually Wednesday and Saturday 🙂

Plan with Me: January 2018 Bujo Setup

How. Is. It. January. Already.

Sometimes life goes by too quickly for me to acknowledge that time has passed. By a lot. I also can’t believe that I have joined the bullet journal community for 6 months. It was always something that I had wanted to do, and I am so glad that I decided to dive in head first into it. Bullet journaling has changed my life forever. I am now so much more organized and patient – I believe that those two qualities are essential as we continue on our daily lives.

And how have I not posted in a week? I went on a skiing trip and totally forgot to schedule this. The mountains were so beautiful and AESTHETIC – I took lots of photos and maybe I’ll do a photography post about it soon? *hint hint* But still, HOW DID I FORGET TO SCHEDULE THIS *chastising myself*

Today, I’ll be sharing my Plan With Me for January, and setting up my bullet journal for this year. I tried out a few spreads and design… I hope that this month will really set an example for future months to go!

Anyways, I hope that this post will give you some inspiration for your own January setup! Diving in head first… *hup* *splash*

2017 Wrap-up | Reflections and Resolutions

No matter how long this year has seemed to been, today ends it all.

Today marks the end of a 365-day chapter of our lives and opens the door to the next. Even though this year gave me a *cough* hard time *cough*, but 2017 was a life-changing year for me. There are so many people that have influenced me to be the person I am now, and supported me through the times when I needed them the most.

Today I’ll be talking about my reflections for this year, expressing tons of gratitude, and of course: the resolutions. Let’s just hope that they are realistic and achievable.

Let’s just hope.
