Confession: last time I ate pancakes was about a year ago.
I’m not sure exactly when?? But for some reason I do remember that it’s a mix from Trader Joes, and I definitely did not add maple syrup. Don’t know why I know that, but hey, it is what it is. Even though I don’t eat pancakes often, if you add it with books, I’m coming to devour them.
I was tagged by the lovely Olivia @ Purely Olivia to do the Pancake Book Tag, and am I excited to do this one! Great big thank you to Olivia, my dear friend, and of course, Becky @ Blogs of a Bookaholic for creating this tag 🙂 Be sure to check out both of their posts, which are linked above.
From improving my writing, introducing me to reading (aka my love), to of course, the wonderful, amazing friendships I’ve made, there’s so much I owe to this blog or my first child. The past 2 years, a lot has changed for this blog and I as a blogger, and upon reflection, I wondered how much it was comparing to when I had first started.
Today, I’ll be talking about some things I wish I have known when I first started out blogging! I thought that it may be a fun and sentimental post to write about, and I hope that you’ll enjoy reading it as much as I had reminiscing :)) Before I start, I’d just like to note that the following are just what I wish I had known for my own blog, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the same for yours! Everyone’s blog and style is different; let’s cherish that and celebrate our differences 🙂
I feel like it’s yesterday that I went screaming (like always) about how I’m so not ready for 2019? Honestly, I’m still not sure why this happened, and I don’t think I ever will be able to. January was… a difficult month – definitely a rocky start to the year.
There’s several things I want to cover in this post, so I hope that this won’t be your typical long monthly wrap up posts you see here.
If there is anything I love more than tea and potatoes, it’d gotta be analyzing stats and charts.
I know, such a nerd, but that just so happens to be me sometimes XD As you guys probably know, I’ve been blogging since February 2017, so it’s been an year and a half *faints* for me in the blogosphere.
Ever since I published my first post ’till now, I’ve never stopped learning about blogging, WordPress, and the community. Over that period of time, I think it’s safe to say that I have a good idea of the pros and cons of blogging as a student blogger, in which I will talk about in today’s post! Let’s dive right in, shall we?
Hello friends! I don’t know about you, but this past two months, I watched a ton of movies. Whether it’s from Netflix or going to the actual theatre, I was introduced to so many new film genres. I also went to different types of theatres during the summer, like the modern Cineplex to a small 30 seat one in the back of an old government building turned into a museum.
Okay now I feel like I 👏 am 👏 literally 👏 killing 👏 the MOOD for movies, like it’s supposed to be a happy thing but I turned it into an essay?? Now I’m rambling there you go Anyways, since this played a huge part of my summer, for today’s post, I’ll be sharing 7 movies that have changed my life! I know school started and all, but why not talk about movies? I haven’t really done a post like this in a long long time, so I’m quite excited to see where that’ll go!
Let’s dive right into a sea of buttered popcorn, shall we? *hup*
*some synopses are horrible and cringy, but just bear with me (I know the pain)
School has started, and alas, it cues more complicated schedules, busier weeks, and overwhelming days. During the summer, I decided to take a break on my bullet journal, because I didn’t really need to use it. Though, when we say hello to September, it will also mean hello to my bujo and planning once again 😂
Today, I’ll be sharing my September bullet journal set-up, and the new spreads I decided to do for the rest of this year. I’m pretty satisfied with the overall result – and I hope that you will love them as much as I do ❤
If there’s anything I love more than writing up blog posts and being in the blogosphere overall, it would have to be bragging about my favourite bloggers of all time. To me, support between fellow bloggers is so important, and I’d love to contribute too, even if it was just a little wee bit 🙂
I was tagged to do The Social Media Blog Tag awhile ago by the ever talented Ally @ Girl Illustrated as well as my big sis and bestie Ryry @ OMG Ryry. I haven’t done a tag for a bit, so I’m quite excited to see how this goes! This is a shorter post than usual, but I guess it’s okay sometimes, right? instantly doubts self*
Currently I’m sitting right here, in front of the computer, and my jaw is hanging and it just won’t shut. Are any of you having an existential crisis? *raises up hand immediately* I mean like HOW is this all happening? Each day really doesn’t feel like it’s 24 hours…
So many things happened the past month, and I’m excited to see what summer has in store. Before I start rambling off, let’s dive right in, shall we? *hup*
Hello loves, and happy summer, everyone! I am officially on summer break *screams*, so I am really excited to be able to post more consistently and spend more time here in the blogosphere 🙂
I was nominated for the Liebster Award and Awesome Blogger Award by Anna @ Anna Pastelle awhile ago. She’s a great blogger, and her blog aesthetic never fails to impress 🙂 Be sure to head over and show some love!
Before I start, I’m so sorry about my unexpected disappearance from the blogosphere for the past week or so. I have been really busy trying to sort and figure out things. I really don’t like being irresponsible, so I apologize 😅 Now that summer is here, I hope that I’ll be able to go back to my blogging schedule and be more present in the blogosphere 🙂
Hello loves! *waves into the void known as the blogosphere* How are you all? June has been a pretty good reading month for me – with school starting to dwindle out and summer approaching, I have more time to actually be a bookworm for once 😂
I don’t know why, but book reviews are honestly one of my favourite types of posts to do. I’m always in dire need to add more books to my never ending TBR list, and connecting with fellow book lovers is always an amazing thing. Today, I’ll be talking about my thoughts on Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake. I have a feeling that this post is going to be really interesting…
I know that I missed my Saturday post – I’ll be talking about that near the end of the post.
